Mushrooms coentrada

Ingredients

  • 300 g mushrooms Pleurotus (or others)
  • 6 garlic cloves (not peeled)
  • 1 bunch of fresh coriander
  • 100 ml white wine
  • 1 cup water
  • Sea salt
  • Black pepper
  • Olive oil, for frying
  • 1 lemon
  • “Broa” bread (cornbread) or other bread of your choise

Instructions

  1. Rip or slice the mushrooms (including the stalks) and finely slice the coriander.
  2. Place a saucepan on a medium heat. Once the pan is hot, add the olive oil, the garlic cloves and half the coriander.
  3. Add the mushrooms and the wine, spreading them evenly across the pan. Cook for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Add the remaining finely sliced coriander.
  5. Serve with lemon wedges and slices of broa or rustic bread.
